In the world that we live in, we are afraid to get our voice across. A minority becomes more minor due to the fear of isolation in the system of democracy and a view which is not the view of the majority but influenced by powerful people becomes a common fact and in time a social norm. Whisper is inspired by a theory of German political scientist Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann.
Through this installation, a person standing at the far end can hear the whisper of the person from the other end over the surface of water. This 9 m installation is in fact a whispering pool where people can get their voice across through the refraction of sound. This installation endeavors to end the fear of isolation and to make every voice heard.
